The East Sydney Pale Ale is a smooth, easy-drinking Sydney drop, batch brewed and hand crafted using all natural ingredients.
The beer is a classic, golden coloured Pale Ale. Punchy, fruity aromatics are followed by a subtle, crisp and tidy flavour profile. Sweet flavours from caramalts are balanced against a beautiful bitterness for a perfect finish.

OUR STORY
We are a family owned and run brewing company, founded by two brothers out of the 160 year old East Sydney Hotel in Woolloomoolloo, Sydney Australia.
The founders, Sam and Pete, were driven by a thirst to blend the best, natural ingredients to create the finest Aussie beer, produced right here in our beautiful harbour city.
Pours a nice clear golden with soft aromas of caramel/biscuit malts.
The flavours are clean with the caramel malts being showcased with light bitterness and slight tropical flavours.
This is an easy drinking, malt forward Pale Ale that would be welcome in my fridge any day

We are a family owned bar with a whole lot of charm. Known as the last country pub in Sydney, this pub dates back to 1856 and this shows in the ultra charming old-school bar.
We have salvaged and upcycled the vintage interior which oozes character. The open fireplaces, wooden floors with copper nails and vintage wall art make it a charming spot to hang out in the cool neighbourhood of Woolloomooloo.
We have our own craft beer, great food, live music and accommodation on offer.
Most importantly, we are proudly pokie free.
The front bar is the heart and soul of the Hotel. This cool and quirky bar celebrates old-style charm, with the bar often referred to as one of the last remaining 'real' pubs in Sydney.

We are a craft beer pub, selling our own small batch brew, the East Sydney Pale Ale.

Here at the East Sydney, we honour the live music scene. We offer up bands twice a week. We have a live jazz band every Sunday from 5pm – 8pm; and live music acts (jazz, bluegrass, blues…) from 7pm – 9pm on Wednesdays. Boogie on down to see our free live music.
